I’m Barry Chandler co-founder and principal at Storyforge helping you build a business that matters in today’s video I want to talk about Steve Jobs his genius marketing strategy and how you can apply it to your business so we’re all familiar with the stories the myths the fables of Steve Jobs we’re familiar with the rise of Apple over the last few years we’re familiar with the products most of us have an Apple product but what we’re not always as familiar with is the marketing strategy that drove Apple to the size it is today to the deep emotional connection that people have with the products why people pay far more for an Apple product than they would for any other product can all be traced back to Steve Jobs very simple marketing strategy so while we’re familiar with all of these aspects of the business in terms of the products it’s crazy valuation the rise of the stock price and we may also be familiar with the famous quote from Steve Jobs about how those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the very ones that do but what we may not realize is that that was the tail end of a very long speech that Steve Jobs gave at the beginning of that speech that I’m most interested in and I think you will be too if you want to build a business that matters that builds deep relationships with its customers its employees because at the beginning of the speech Steve Jobs shares what he believes marketing is truly all about what his strategy his single strategy is for the organization so take a look at this video and I think you’ll see things you can replicate in your business very easily
